We offer a satisfaction guarantee on Cefaly devices and products purchased from cefaly.com. If you’re not satisfied with the product, you may return it within 90 calendar days of your product delivery date.

Before You Return Your Cefaly Device

 
  • Are you using the Acute treatment at the very earliest sign of a migraine attack? That’s when it’s most effective.

  • Are you using the Prevent mode every day? Allow two to three months of consistent use to see results.

  • Have you seen even a small improvement in your symptoms? This means you are responding to treatment. Keep using Prevent consistently, and you should experience less frequent migraine attacks.

  • Does the stimulation feel uncomfortable? Adjust the intensity so it’s comfortable for you. The stimulation will slowly increase during the first 14 minutes of a session. When you feel a strong vibration or stimulation sensation that is not painful, press the device button once or tap STABILIZE in the app. Too strong? Press STOP in the app, or twist the device and pull it away from your forehead. Then, restart treatment.

  • Are you having trouble getting the device to stay on your forehead? Recline or lie down during treatment. Always wash and dry your forehead before attaching the electrode. If the electrode’s not sticking well, get a new one.

How to Return Your CEFALY Device

Step 1: Contact Customer Service

To start the return process, contact us by phone or email:

Step 2: Pack it up

 
  • If returning a Cefaly device, package the following items inside a small box or shipping envelope:
    The Cefaly device and all accessories, including the zipper storage case, instruction manual, power adapter & cable. Please be sure to include your order number with your return. 
 
  • If returning an electrode 3-pack, package the electrode kit/packet inside a small box or shipping envelope.
    Cefaly only accepts unopened and unused electrode kits/packets. All three individual electrodes must still be sealed within the original clear cellophane bag.

Please note the following regarding your return

  • To be eligible for a refund, the device and accessories must be in the same condition they were received and in the original packaging. We reserve the right to decline your return if any items have been damaged, modified, or have been in contact with any liquids. If there are any missing parts you will not receive a refund.
  • There is no refund for your original outbound shipping fee. You will be refunded only for the items returned
  • Please allow 14 business days after we receive your return for your refund to post to your original payment account.

CEFALY 3-Year Limited Warranty

Your Cefaly device is protected by a three (3) year limited warranty from the original date of purchase when purchased directly from www.cefaly.com. This limited warranty ensures your device is free of defects in manufacture and workmanship if used in accordance with the instructions provided. Electrodes, charging cables, and other accessories are excluded from this warranty. Please keep your invoice or sales receipt as your Proof of Purchase date.

This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance and storage; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of CEFALY Technology.

These limited warranties are effective only if the product is purchased from www.cefaly.com or Cefaly US, Inc. and the product is only operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.

In no event shall CEFALY’s liability with respect to any of the products furnished by the company exceed the charges paid by the Customer to CEFALY for such product(s). Customer’s sole remedy for any defective product or any other breach of performance shall be the repair or replacement of any defective product furnished by CEFALY. IT IS EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD BY CUSTOMER THAT THE FOREGOING REMEDY IS CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY. EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE. IN NO EVENT SHALL CEFALY BE LIABLE UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
