First use
Return to User ManualBefore a first utilisation of the Cefaly Software, the drivers that communicate with the device should be properly coupled with the cable. To do this, one just needs to connect the cable to the USB port (without a Cefaly device) and waits that the cable is ready for use. That is why you will see the following window appearing.
Typically, once your cable is connected, a small pop-up will appear from the notification area (right-bottom part of your screen), stating that the new device is detected, then that it installs it and finally that it is ready for use.
Please note this only happens the first time you connect your cable.
Once that is done, you check the box "Check this box once the cable is ready for use", then click OK.
Now you can see the main window. As it is the first time you use it, you can either get data from a device (and thereby create a patient file) or exit.
Before choosing "Get data from a Cefaly device", make sure your cable is connected to the USB port and to a Cefaly device. Then click on the button. After a few seconds the following window appears:
