The different records of the statistics are stored in a database that uses Microsoft Excel Document format.This allows you to exploit all the possibilities of software that can read and manipulate .xls files.

Where are my files located

In the directory where you installed the Cefaly Software (typically C:\Program Files\Cefaly Software), you will see a 'Clients' subdirectory. In this folder, the different patient files are located. The name of each file is First_Name Last_Name Birth_date as you entered it in the patient information forms.

Important information regarding the data files

As you will see, all files are marked as read-only. The goal is to prevent a misuse or a corruption of the file. IN CASE YOU MODIFY THE ORIGINAL FILE, THE CEFALY SOFTWARE MIGHT BE UNABLE TO RECOVER AND DISPLAY CORRECTLY THE RECORDS - SO PREFERABLY MAKE A COPY SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WISH TO UPDATE THE FILE.

Excel file structure

For each patient file, a first tab (worksheet) will contain the infomation about the patient. The other tabs (worksheets) contain the data of the different records of the statistics. Their name represents the actual date of the record.
