Severe, permanent pain located at temporal level (lateral side of the head, but sometimes at the back) that occurs in older patients (around the age of 70).
The temporal artery becomes thickened and painful to pressure.
Cefaly has no effect on this type of pain. However, corticoid-based drug treatments can produce excellent results.
